    • On the login screen click "Forgot Your Password?".
    • You need to have or know your:
      • User Name
      • Security Answer
    • If you do not know your security answer, then click on the link available on the page where security answer is being asked. You will be prompted to enter your email address

  • Cookies
    • Cookies are a piece of information that a Website transfers to your hard drive. The temporary cookie is used throughout the website visit in order to identify you on our system. It helps to identify your call information as you go from page to page. The cookies are designed to expire when you logoff or turn off your browser window.

    • Setting up Cookies for Internet Explorer
      • From the Tools menu, select Internet options.
      • In the dialog box click the privacy tab
      • Be sure the setting is a Medium High or lower. This allows cookies to be stored.
      • Click OK to close the dialog box.

  • Cache Settings
    • Your cache settings can determine whether or not you are getting the newest information on the website when you visit. Your cache settings must be set to check for the newest versions of the website pages.

      • Open your Internet Explorer browser window.
      • Select Tools from the file menu.
      • Click on Internet Options.
      • Select the General tab.
      • Select Temporary Internet Files Group
      • Click on Settings
      • Check for newer versions of stored pages, automatically.

  • Popup Windows
    • makes use of popup windows with some features. If you are using a program that disables popup windows you should turn it off during your session. In order to turn this off you must:
      • While you are on the .com website
      • Select Tools form the file menu.
      • Select Popup Blocker.

    • Back buttons
      • Although your browser provides Back and Forward buttons to help you navigate, it is desired to use the 'Back', 'Previous' and 'Next' buttons provided on the Navajo web application. If you use the browser Back and Forward buttons you may encounter a refresh message or an error. Please use the buttons provided on the site.

    • Downloading Technical Manual
      • When you click on the Chemistry Analyzer under Technical Manual on the left sidebar in IE, a dialog pops up asking you to either Save or Cancel. Click on Save and select a location your computer. Then it will prompt you to either Open or Cancel. Different browsers behave in different ways for downloading a file.

    • The best way to end your session is to use the 'Log Out' link in the upper right-hand corner of every page. Using this will ensure that any changes you made during the session are processed and not lost.

Enabling Javascript in IE

1. Go to the Tools menu and select Internet Options...

2. In the Internet Options window, select the Security tab (at the top of the window).

3. Under the Security tab, select the Internet Web content zone.

4. Under Security Level for this zone:

If there is a slider bar move the slider bar to Medium. Otherwise, if the security level is Custom:

     a. Click on the Custom Level ... button at the bottom of the page to open the Security Settings window.

     b. In the Security Settings window scroll down until you get to the section called Scripting (near the bottom).

     c. Under Scripting there is a catagory Active scripting, select the option marked Enable for this catagory.

     d. Click the OK button.

Session Time out errors in Internet Explorer

 
   

Setting up Cookies for Internet Explorer  Make sure to update to the latest version.

 
 

 

Step 1

 

From the Tools menu, select Internet options. In the dialog box click the privacy tab

Step 2

 

Move the slider to the bottom to Accept All Cookies

Step 3

 

Click the Advanced button

Step 4

 

Check Override automatic cookie handling, Accept First and Third-party cookies and check Always allow session cookies.
